Profile-

The purpose of the Backward classess and Minorities Directorate :-

1. To protect the, provisions made in the interests of backward classes and Minorities and protect there rights in context of facilities available to backward classes.
2. Formulation of the policies and planning, for the welfare and development of the Backward classes and Minority.
3. Prepare various educational, social and economic development programs to ensure maximum benefits to peoples of the Backward classes and Minority

Priorities of the Department: –

1. Take effective measures to connecting Backward classess and Minorities to main stream of society
2. Do implementations of various schemes for the upliftment of academic, social and economic growth of the Backward classess and Minorities
3. Do implementations of voluntary innovation schemes, to raise the self-confidence and end the feeling of backwardness.
4. do the simplification of the process, for getting the certificate of backward class.
5. Make provision for Diploma, Degree programs in Traditional Technical and in the area of industrial education, give recognition in every region to these distinctions.
6. To overcome from the social backwardness, provide the special priority each area
7. For the girls of Economically weaker people of backward classes , hostel building at the district level and for higher education students to provide educational facilities and
   scholarships.
8. Do the survey of land / buildings of Mosque, Dargah and Gurudwara etc. to remove the illegal possession
9. Use / Access the Wakf properties in favour of Minority.
