All the citizens of Datia district, whose Aadhaar has been done 10 years ago, such Aadhaar card holders have to update their personal latest details in the data of Aadhaar, in this regard UIDAI has made “Update Document” to provide this facility to Aadhaar holders. A new feature has been developed. Citizens can access this facility online through the My Aadhaar portal and update the documents free of cost till September 14, 2023. This new feature allows the individual to update Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) documents in Aadhaar. Apart from this, the residents can also visit the Aadhaar center to update the document, for which a fee of Rs 50 will be payable to the kiosk operator. As on April 30, 2023, in Datia district, the Aadhaar cards of an estimated 2,25,000 people, which were made 10 years ago, are to be updated. In the event of August 2023, Aadhaar can also be updated through machines operated by various registrars in the district.
