About District Informatics Centre Datia                               

The NIC-District Informatics Centre, District Datia(Madhya Pradesh) was established in the years 1988-89 to establish and promote the computer culture in the Government Departments under District Administration and speed up the flow of information amongst District, State and Centre. The purpose was achieved by computerising various procedures and schemes pertaining to various departments with compiling, managing and analysing the related data and transmitting the same in the desired form over India First largest satellite based Computer Network NICNET, thereby speeding up the process of planning and implementation of various Government Schemes that paved a path to faster development. Marching ahead on the path of progress NIC has recently established the Video Conferencing Studio at the District.
